Bac Lieu will actively coordinate with investors to work with central ministries and sectors. to soon submit to the Prime Minister to handle outstanding issues, try to complete procedures to start construction in the second quarter of 2022 and complete phase 1 of the project (800MW) in 2024.

In 2022, Bac Lieu province will promote wind power projects, especially offshore wind power projects in accordance with the Power Master Plan VIII when approved by the Prime Minister.
